WELCOME TO OAK BAY BAND

Donate Here
Located in beautiful Oak Bay, British Columbia, the nationally recognized Oak Bay High School Band Program has more than 400 Grade 9 to Grade 12 student musicians. Our students, who play in one or more of the nine ensembles, receive a wealth of performance experience through seasonal concerts and other school-related events and assemblies, adjudicated festivals, as well as at community events throughout the year.

Oak Bay High School has developed a culture of excellence, innovation and student leadership over the decades.  Our philosophy, programming and professional development are based on four educational pillars of excellence:  Academics, Athletics, Fine Arts and Community Leadership and Philanthropy. Our musicians embody the Four Pillars of Excellence, and are well-rounded members of our school and local community.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We believe every student has the capacity to express themselves creatively through music. The Oak Bay Band Program strives to instill a lasting appreciation for music.
Through music, students are connected to the wider community. Travel, community concerts, school performances, public events and philanthropy broaden the world view of Oak Bay Band Students.

Oak Bay Band Graduates are leaders in our community and throughout the world.
